IDEAS GET LOST – JUST WRITE IT DOWN

Writing down an idea seems to be very silly thing but it really makes a sense. Ideas get lost and our mind does not recall the same idea some time. An idea is like a pen you like the most. Pen get lost easily similarly ideas are also lost easily. Sometime when a good idea is lost we miss it like crazy. So best idea is; just write down the idea as soon as it hits our mind.

Writing an idea is not a big deal, everybody carries a pen with him. Write down the idea as soon as it clicks you. You can write the idea as a hint on our hand if you do not have paper ready with you. If you can carry a small personal pocket diary it can help you most.

It is not necessary that idea you have written will be implemented immediately, it may take have some time but you will have it handy and ready to use.

I know one person who really used this idea of writing down the ideas. This person is a professor in a university. He used to have a notebook with him and wrote all the ideas in notebook. Today he is having an around 10 notebooks, full of ideas related to his field. And you know what he has patented his ideas in US. Yes we can protect our ideas also if you patent them; provided you have some written proof.

So it will be great if we have a pen (pen which we love to write as soon as we get opportunity to write) and a small pocket diary with us and write down all the ideas in it.

DMR

  1. I agree. I would like to add the importance of mobile technology here. Precisely for reasons mentioned by DMR, and for many more other reasons, I suggest people to get a high end mobile phone. We all use mobile phones. If we carry better instruments, like the iPhone, or Google phone, or any other smart phone with us, we can keep writing our ideas in it. Moreover, when we write with a pen, it is often difficult to change something, or to make space to develop on the idea later.. but if we write it on a phone or computer, we can work further on it on a later date.
